Experience the thrill of scuba diving in Roatan tropical island, this is a half day class related to the Roatan PADI DSD or Discover Scuba Diving, the adventure starts with a brief and understandable video of diving basics between 45 minutes to 1 hour in the classroom. This experience allows you to relax and enjoy the fun of breathing underwater taking first the confined water to get comfortable with the diving gear and then an open water dive to discover the beautiful marine life and colorful barrier reef of Roatan island.

What To Expect:
You will have the opportunity to try the diving gear and discover the diving experience in Roatan island, one of the best tropical islands of the Caribbean for the practice of recreational diving. Our guides will pick you up either at the cruise port, resort or rental, starting with a short video of diving basics, advised and accompanied by our certified instructors, they will give you the necessary advice to enjoy this unforgettable experience. After the video, we will proceed to the confined water and then to the open water where the real fun starts, viewing the multiple species of colorful corals, crabs, fish, lobsters and this is just the beginning, under a clear crystal warm waters, the visibility is just perfect, and the reef is just few meters from the island. This tour includes water and tropical fruits, and it’s not a Diving certification.
Meeting Instructions for Cruise Passengers:
Mahogany Bay Cruise Port : Upon disembarkation of your cruise ship at Mahogany Bay Cruise Center, walk past the shopping area. You will see the white taxis; at that point, make a left straight up the hill. Where you see a green gate, walk through it and walk down to where you see people holding signs. Look for the sings that says Roatan Five Stars Tours.
In ocassion to bad weather (mostly strong winds), Carnival ships make short notice as to where they will be docking. If this happens, your tour is not cancelled. Board the tender craft and try to meet us ASAP, follow the instructions for the Port of Roatan, or call us and let us know that you are on your way to meet us.
Coxen Hole Cruise Port : Upon disembarkation, you will find the shopping area containing Diamonds International, etc. Ask a security guard where gate #2 is; it is on your left, exit there. Guests may be confronted by other vendors offering their tours. They will be very persistent, but keep telling them, “I am set.” You will see people holding signs. Look for the one that says Roatan Five Stars Tours.
